Primary school 95% completed

School board members authorized the release of half of the remaining 10% in “retainage” funds to Allstate Construction, Inc. at their April 16 meeting after hearing that construction of the new Perry Primary School (PPS) facility is nearly 95% complete.

“Retainage” is a portion of the agreed-upon contract price withheld until work is substantially complete to insure contractors satisfy all obligations and complete a construction project.
