U.S. 19 work nearing completion

A $4.1 million FDOT resurfacing and drainage improvement project on U.S 19 is nearing completion.

Capital Asphalt, Inc. was hired to complete the 3.5-mile project, which began Oct. 1, 2018, and had an original tentative completion date of April 23. In addition to resurfacing, the project includes installation of pipe in the median to improve drainage issues.
