Banquet tickets on sale now

Tickets are now available for the Taylor County Historical Society’s annual banquet planned Saturday, May 18, at the Perry Elks Lodge.

Mike Nola will share film footage and photos from the 1930s and early 1940s of Perry taken by his father, the late Joe Nola.

Dr. Josh Goodman will also share information on his upcoming book, a history of Taylor County.

Tickets are $15 for members and $20 for non-members.

Tickets are available at the following locations: Historical Society museum on East Main Street, which is open on Thursday afternoons from 1-5 p.m.; Perry Newspapers, located at 123 South Jefferson Street; and Rain’s Train Stop Flowers Shop, located in the Old Depot.
