Road closures

Jefferson Street

Drivers are reminded that Jefferson Street will be closed for three weeks, beginning Monday, April 29, due to construction on the railroad crossing near Ellis Street.

The road will close at 9 a.m. Monday, April 29, and is scheduled to re-open Saturday, May 18, at 6 p.m., according to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).

Smith Road

Smith Road will be closed for one day on Tuesday, April 30, due to Georgia-Pacific’s ongoing pipeline construction activity.

Jim Lee Road will serve as a detour while Smith Road is closed. Traffic signs with road closure and detour information have been posted.
