TCHS baseball team begins district tournament

The Taylor County High School (TCHS) varsity baseball team came very close to pulling off a revenge win over Lafayette County last week — after losing to the Hornets 14-1 earlier in the season — but came up just short in a hard-fought 2-1 loss.

Rhett Borklund started on the mound for the Bulldogs and lasted five innings, allowing no earned runs while striking out five batters and walking only two.
