Anglers will compete for over $15,000 in prizes

The 28th annual Perry Optimist Club fishing tournament – the “granddaddy of all fishing tournaments” will be held this Saturday, May 4, as hundreds of anglers cast a line in hopes of reeling in a share of over $15,000 in cash and prizes.

The entry fee for the tournament is $50 per angler, and lines can go in the water beginning at 7 a.m.
