Bulldogs move from Class 3A to 1A Rural

The Taylor County High School (TCHS) football team has been moved down from Class 3A to the Class 1A Rural division this coming season in football, which means the Bulldogs will now be competing against schools with the same (or smaller) enrollment numbers – instead of much larger public and private schools like in years past.

With the move to Class 1A, the Bulldogs stand a better chance of advancing deeper into the playoffs rather than facing larger public schools, private schools or academies that operate under different rules.
