Taylor County natives find positions in state government

Taylor County residents will likely recognize several of the top officials recently confirmed by the Florida Senate to serve under in the administration of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, including two department secretaries and the state’s chief law enforcement officer.

In December, DeSantis appointed Taylor County native Chad Poppell to take over as secretary of the Department of Children and Families (DCF).
