Fired employee files suit against AMTEC Less-Lethal

Jackie Hendry, a former employee of AMTEC Less-Lethal Systems, Inc. has filed a civil lawsuit against the former local munitions manufacturer, containing allegations of gender discrimination and claiming that she was terminated in retaliation for objecting to sexual harrassment by a supervisor.

Hendry claims she was fired as a result of complaining of sexual harrassment, in addition to alleging she warned supervisors of unsafe working conditions months before a Sept. 14, 2018 explosion that later claimed the lives of two fellow employees.
