New Perry Primary will house students from six weeks old to second graders

The Taylor County School District will be serving children as young as six weeks old to second graders all under one roof when the new Perry Primary School opens with the start of the 2019-20 school year.

“The opportunity for Taylor County Pre-K and Perry Primary School to consolidate is an exciting one for all. This merge will come with many advantages, including better articulation between the schools, convenience for the parents, money savings for the district and safety for students and staff,” incoming Pre-K/Perry Primary School Principal Kelli Brannen said.
