    Man ‘critical’ after beating

    A Perry man is being held on a $100,000 bond after allegedly beating another man so severely that he remains in critical condition in a Tallahassee hospital.

    Thomas Ray Craft, 34, was arrested Wednesday afternoon, May 15, a short while after officers responded to 604 East Maurice Linton Road around 2 p.m. in response to a 911 call reporting that a male subject had “been beaten up,” Perry Police Department (PPD) Capt. Gene Franklin said.
