Taylor County High School (TCHS) officials and the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) continue to investigate a Friday altercation at the local high school that resulted in nearly a dozen students being arrested.
As of press time Tuesday TCHS and TCSO officials reported a total of 11 students had been taken into custody and charged with “affray” (fighting in a public place and/or disturbing the peace — a first degree misdemeanor) stemming from the physical disturbance in the TCHS library during lunch on Friday.
