One man cleared, another arrested

Based on follow up interviews and new information, the original suspect in an attack that left a Perry man in critical condition was cleared of the charges and a new suspect has been taken into custody.

Thomas Ray Craft, 34, was released from jail Monday after investigators with the Perry Police Department (PPD) Criminal Investigations Division (CID) informed the local assistant state attorney’s office “there was no longer probable cause to hold Craft.
