Ronnie Lee Brooks, “Bubby,” 59, was born April 21, 1960, in Corinth, Miss.
He gained his wings May 11, 2019, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his mother, Bobbie Hiebert, of Perry; three sisters, Flora Blanchard of Tallahassee, Judy Bickel of Perry, and Dena Guy of Lakeland; four nephews, Ronnie Kirk of Tallahassee, Jeffrey Touchton of Perry, Anthony Touchton of Perry, and Brandon Guy of Lakeland; two nieces, Rhonda Kay Montoya of Atlanta, G.a., and Heather Pettus of Lakeland; four great nephews, Alvie Webster, Colton Touchton, Bryson Kirk, Dawson Pettus, and also by two great nieces, Catalina Montoya and Hadley Pettus.
Ronnie enjoyed saltwater fishing, working in his machine shop and firearms, but most of all, he loved picking on his sisters. His sisters said that he was more of a father to them than a brother.
Ronnie was employed by AMTEC Less Lethal Systems, Inc. in Perry.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service June 8, 2019, at 2 p.m. at the home of Bobbie Hiebert, 2960 West Page Road, Perry, Florida.
“Bubby” will be truly missed and loved always.
