After more than four decades of service to the local community, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9225 of Perry may be forced to close its doors due to a lack of veteran participation and community contributions.
Perry’s VFW Post 9225 is in need of at least four qualifying veterans with the ability to fill key post positions by June 11, 2019, or it will lose its Congressional Charter after 44 years of assisting and advocating for area veterans and their families.
