Softball All-Stars to play in World Series

The Taylor County 8U Lady Bulldogs All-Star softball team managed to punch their ticket to play in the 8U State Softball World Series by competing in a World Series Qualifier this past weekend in Newberry.

Although Taylor County’s 8U Softball All-Stars dropped three straight games this past weekend against squads that play together year round, they still managed to qualify for the upcoming World Series — scheduled for July 24-Aug. 3 — just by participating in the qualifier
