Taylor County High School (TCHS) had the opportunity to hang another state championship banner on the gym wall, thanks to 2019 TCHS senior Caroline Middleton, who capped off an award-winning high school career by earning a state championship in the 129 lb. weight class during her senior season.
Middleton has had quite a decorated high school career as a weightlifter, winning first place in the district and regional championships for three consecutive years before advancing to grab her first-ever state championship this year.
