Daveen Preston Lescoe

Daveen Preston Lescoe, 76, of Perry, passed away peacefully at her home Saturday June 1, 2019. Daveen was born Dec. 21, 1942 in Wayne, Mich. to David and Virginia Knisley. She moved to Perry from Crawfordville in 1989 and worked as an assistant manager and computer systems installer for Kmart for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Perry First Church of God and in her spare time enjoyed fishing, watching major league baseball, watching Florida State Seminole Football and caring for her animals.
She is survived by: two sons, David Screeton, of New Hampshire, and John Lescoe, of Crawfordville; one brother, David, of Michigan; two granddaughters; her lifelong companion, Diane Whiddon, of Perry; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-6 p.m. today (Wednesday) at her residence, 129 E. Nancy St, Perry. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hearts for Hometown Dogs, PO Box 653, Perry, FL 32348.
