    ‘Stand your ground’ law claimed in Pittman case

    Attorneys for Kayla Pittman have filed a motion to dismiss the second degree murder indictment against her for the Dec. 9, 2018, fatal shooting of Shawnie Easlick, citing a claim of self-defense under the “Stand Your Ground” law.

    A hearing on the motion is scheduled for Thursday, July 18.
