Rabies alert!

The Florida Department of Health in Taylor County (DOH-Taylor) has issued a rabies alert for the Perry- Taylor County area in response to a dog that tested positive on June 7.

“All residents and visitors in Taylor County should be aware that rabies is present in the wild animal population, and domestic animals are at risk if not vaccinated,” DOH-Taylor Public Health Officer Padraic Juarez said.
