Two suspects caught attempting to smuggle cocaine, cigars into prison

A suspect who has only been out of prison for less than a month was caught red-handed Saturday night attempting to smuggle 11.5 grams of powder cocaine and hundreds of “305” brand cigars into Taylor Correctional Institution (TCI).

Antonio Mario Arenivar, 27, of Labelle, was observed by corrections officers hiding a package that contained the contraband between a pine tree and storage building at the rear of the TCI work camp.
