Melton “Buddy” Eugene McWatters

Mr. Melton “Buddy” Eugene McWatters, passed away on May 30, 2019 in Tallahassee. Graveside funeral services were held Monday, June 3, 2019, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Perry.

Buddy enjoyed fishing, and most of the time when he caught a “mess,” he would give them to someone who needed them. He helped anyone he could. Not because he had to, but because he wanted to. That’s just who he was. He also was a “junker.” He would take different appliances that people wanted to discard and fix them to sell or give to someone that needed it. He was a good man.

He is survived by a daughter, Sabrina Lauderdale, of S.C., a brother, Carlos McWatters, Gainesville, a sister, Linda McWatters Smith, and her husband, Thomas, of  Gainesville, and three grandchildren.
