County fills four TCDA board seats

In the past it has been difficult at times for the Taylor County Commission to make appointments to various volunteer boards due to a lack of applicants, but that was not the case earlier this month when the county received 10 applications to fill four open positions on the Taylor County Development Authority (TCDA).

The commission ultimately re-appointed Don Everett Jr. — one of two sitting board members seeking new terms — and appointed three new board members, including: David Beecher, Melissa Fijalkowski and Wallace Holmes. Current TCDA board member Alan Dodimead was not reappointed.
