    Celebrate with fireworks and fun!

    Celebrate America’s Independence Day with live entertainment, BBQ, kids’ fun and fireworks Thursday, July 4, at Rosehead Park in historic downtown Perry.

    Activities kick off at 6 p.m. with vendors and a Kids’ Fun Zone featuring bounce houses and face painting.

    Artist Sarah Trimm will take the stage at 6 p.m. to perform a variety of classic and modern country covers as well as original songs.

    Andy Pursell & Band headlines the night at 7:30 p.m. with a string of originals and classic covers.

    Fireworks will light up the skies at 9 p.m.

    Free Moon Pies will be handed out, and there will also be a Moon Pie Eating Contest, as well as an Apple Pie Eating Contest.

    Studstills is sponsoring a Cornhole Tournament that also begins at 6 p.m.

    To register in advance, visit Studstills, located on Quincy Street. The cost is $10 per person/$20 per team.

    Food vendors and craft vendors will also be set up at the park.

    Admission is free, and everyone is welcome.
