    Ealum takes the lead in ‘A Chorus Line’

    Chelsea Parker Ealum, the daughter of local Circuit Judge Greg Parker, takes the stage at the Monticello Opera House this Friday for a six-show run of “A Chorus Line.”

    “A Chorus Line,” which was first performed in 1975 and inspired the 1985 film of the same name, is a musical about actors auditioning to star in a Broadway show.

    For Taylor County native Chelsea Ealum, auditioning for musicals is nothing new, having performed in numerous community productions around the Big Bend region after receiving her degree from the University of Florida (UF) School of Theatre and Dance.
