USPS to end Saturday mail delivery, starting on Aug. 5

The United State Postal Service announced Wednesday it will end Saturday mail delivery to street addresses starting Aug. 5.

Postal service officials expect to generate cost savings of approximately $2 billion annually once the plan is fully implemented. The postal service will continue Saturday package service.
