12U All-Stars lose to Wrigley following rain delay in state tourney

Taylor County’s 12U All-Star softball team may have been one of the teams affected the most by a rain delay and location change caused by bad weather last Thursday during the opening round of the 12U All-Star State Tournament.

The local All-Stars were in the middle of their opening-round game against Wrigley when the bad weather halted play and forced tournament officials to change the tournament location from Lake City to Newberry.
