The Taylor County Commission unanimously approved a change to the county’s Land Development Code (LDC) which provides for less stringent building setback requirements for non-conforming lots that predate the comprehensive plan adopted in 1990.
The commission itself applied for the change, which was approved by the Taylor County Planning Board on April 4 before returning to the commission for a pair of public hearings on May 6 and 17.
