Brake failure?

The driver of this four-door sedan told police her brakes failed, resulting in her vehicle crashing into the northwest corner of Hibbett Sports around 7 p.m. Sunday.

Jamiesha Calhoun, 28, was found at fault for operating a vehicle in a reckless manner and was cited for not having a valid driver’s license. The Perry Police Department reported Calhoun was traveling south on Jefferson Street and was turning into the Walmart parking lot when her “vehicle accelerated, jumped the curb and hit a small cluster of trees before crashing into the building.” No injuries were reported.
