Texting ban while driving is in effect

The days of answering emails and texts or posting to Instagram and liking Facebook posts while driving is over in Florida – unless you want to risk getting pulled over and ticketed.

A ban on texting while driving is one of 100 new laws that went into effect Monday, July 1.
