    ‘Rainmaker’ could drop 3 inches here

    A developing tropical system that passed over North Florida on Tuesday is forecast to continue to strengthen, but is not expected to pose a serious threat to Taylor County as it moves toward the Florida Panhandle and Louisiana.

    Although local officials are urging residents to keep an eye on the system as it develops, Taylor County Emergency Management Director Kristy Anderson said officials expect the system to be mostly a “rainmaker,” as the National Weather Service (NWS) in Tallahassee is forecasting two to three inches of rain for Taylor County through Sunday.
