Following the release of Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) data last week, Taylor County School District staff, students and school board members are celebrating a huge jump in student scores at Steinhatchee School, as well as gains in 22 of 28 subject areas overall in which local students were tested for “proficiency.”
Highlighting the mostly-positive local test results was the fact Steinhatchee School is likely poised to make a huge jump from being an “F” school last year to being named an “A” school when the state releases final school grades later this month.
