TCDA asks city’s help for economic development

Stating the local economic development agency is “at a crossroads,” the Taylor County Development Authority (TCDA) is asking the City of Perry to once again contribute to funding efforts to expand and recruit new businesses to the area.

TCDA Vice Chairman Don Everett Jr. appeared before the city council at its July 2 meeting, asking council members to consider matching the county’s funding during upcoming budget workshops.
