Bids sought on county property

The Taylor County Commission is once again attempting to sell a collection of properties the county has acquired over the years through the tax deed process.

The parcels “escheated” or reverted to the county through the tax deed process due to the property owners not paying their county taxes, and the commission declared them surplus in order to put that out for bid.
