School supply giveaway set July 31

First Baptist Church will host its second annual back to school bash Wednesday, July 31, from 6-7:30 p.m.

The “Back 2 School Growl” will feature school supply giveaways, music, concessions (hot dogs, popcorn, sno-cones, cotton candy) and door prizes.

Local agencies will have displays set up for children to explore, including the Boys & Girls Club, Taylor County Sheriff’s Office, Perry Police Department, Taylor County Fire-Rescue, the City of Perry Fire Department, Florida KidCare, the Division of Forestry, Emergency Management, the Taylor County School District and the Reading Bus.

All activities are free, and the community is invited.

The event will be held at First Baptist, located at 102 North Center St.
