City to draft policy on non-profit donations

The City of Perry is looking to formalize its policy on making donations to local non-profit organizations, directing city staff to draft a policy based on an “unwritten” practice that has been in place for more than a decade.

City Manager Taylor Brown asked council members for a written policy to ensure requests would be addressed in a manner “that is fair, consistent and transparent.”
