Dozens of officers from 10 different law enforcement agencies cast a large dragnet around Camp Misery Hunt Club Saturday evening in an attempt to capture two suspects involved in a shooting incident earlier that afternoon on Cow Creek Grade in which a family of six, including four children, was confronted by an armed gunman for allegedly stealing his sister’s fishing pole.
The search, which involved K-9 squads from four different agencies tracking the suspect on foot through the heavily-wooded area with air support from Leon County, lasted for more than two hours before one suspect, Misty Dawn Carter, 37, was taken into custody
