Perry man charged in Tallahassee hotel arson

A Perry man has been arrested and charged with first-degree arson after allegedly igniting a fire that caused numerous evacuations of the Tallahassee hotel he was employed at on Sunday.

Ian J. Brown, 25, of Perry, was booked into the Leon County Detention Facility on Sunday, July 21, by investigators with the Florida Bureau of Fire and Arson Investigations.
