County eyes expanded fire protection

Charged with providing fire suppression and prevention services for more than 1,200 square miles, Taylor County Fire- Rescue (TCFR) has a lot of territory to cover.

Several times over the past year, the Taylor County Commission has discussed how to increase funding for the department in order to allow for expanded fire protection services.
