A man who ran a stop sign and then rammed the driver’s side of a passing vehicle was charged with leaving the scene of an accident without rendering aid nearly three months after the violent crash happened.

Lakaedric Simmons, 28, was booked at the Taylor County Jail Monday after being taken into custody on an arrest warrant that was issued related to the crash. He posted a $10,000 bond and was released the same day.
