Bowing to a plea from their attorney, Taylor County commissioners have delayed a decision on whether or not to eliminate exemptions from the county’s solid waste special assessment for recreational vehicles (RVs) and hunting camps.
At Monday’s board meeting, four of the five commissioners expressed their desire to move forward with charging all dwellings the full $140 assessment. RVs and hunting camps are currently charged one-third of that total amount ($46.67).
