Vaping ban eyed for all county property

The Taylor County Commission is considering an ordinance to prohibit vaping in all county buildings and on all recreational properties.

The board was originally going to consider the new rules — which were focused on recreational facilities — at its July 23 meeting, but delayed a decision in order to incorporate a new state bill passed this spring by the Florida Legislature prohibiting vaping in most indoor workplaces beginning July 1.
