All local elected and appointed officials, as well as members of the general public, are invited to attend a free “Ethics of Public Service” course on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the Taylor County Supervisor of Elections office.
The course, scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., will take the place of similar required training sessions held around the state each year, eliminating the cost of the course, travel and related expenses for local elected and appointed officials.
Sponsored by the Perry-Taylor County Chamber of Commerce and Perry Newspapers, Inc., the four-hour course will be presented by Ben Green, director of the Florida Center for Public Management (FCPM) at Florida State University.
