Treading water: Flood is still affecting many

More than a week after Steinhatchee was flooded by some 30 inches of rain in just a handful of days, many areas in the coastal community are still dealing with flood waters.

“The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office – Division of Emergency Management is continuing to assist and assess the situation in Steinhatchee due to the recent flooding,” Director Kristy Anderson said.
