Dorian creates Labor Day limbo

Three years to the day that Hurricane Hermine made landfall near Taylor County in 2016, Hurricane Dorian is being forecast to hit Florida’s coast as a Category 4 storm sometime Monday, Sept. 2, with a projected track that could impact Taylor County on Tuesday.

Although there was much uncertainty over Dorian’s eventual track as of press time Thursday, local emergency officials are urging residents to prepare for the storm now.
