Fund-raiser benefits local cancer patients

The annual “Jogging for Jugs” fund-raiser will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, in Steinhatchee.

This event will raise funds for cancer research and to assist local residents who are undergoing cancer treatment.

On-site registration for the 5K walk/run will be held at the Steinhatchee Community Center, beginning at 7 a.m.

The 5K walk/run will begin at 8 a.m. Children 12 and under may participate for free if accompanied by an adult.

Following the race, a pink pancake breakfast will be held at the Steinhatchee Community Center. The breakfast is free to participants, with a donation for all others.
