Woman kidnaps child at gunpoint

A child was forcibly removed from a local home Tuesday morning by a woman allegedly wielding a loaded firearm and threatening the child’s caretaker.

The child was found safe at the woman’s home and returned to its guardian – but not before leading law enforcement officers to the handgun, which had been hidden in nearby woods.
