    Nancy May Mincy

    Mrs. Nancy May Mincy, 86, passed away on Sept. 19, 2019, in Perry. Nancy was born June 25, 1933, in Baltimore, Md., to Mr. Karl Hilprecht and Alice Vinson Hilprecht.

    Nancy was a member of First Baptist Church of Perry. When she was younger, she enjoyed bowling and was part of a bowling league. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a Florida State fan. She enjoyed going to her children’s and grandchildren’s activities and family gatherings and vacations.

    Nancy was preceded in death by: her husband, Jimmy Mincy; her parents, Karl and Alice Hilprecht; and her brother, Carl Hilprecht.She is survived by: four children, Darlene and her husband, G.W. Pridgeon, Teresa Holmes, Jimmy Mincy Jr. and his wife, Juanita, and Mike Mincy and his wife, Sheena; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Carolyn Hayes; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

    Funeral services will be held on Monday, Sept. 23, at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Perry with Pastor Bill Jenkins officiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterward at Tallahassee National Cemetery.

    The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, at Burns Funeral Home of Perry.

    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Tallahassee Memorial Foundation, designate funds to Cancer Center, 1331 East 6th Avenue, Tallahassee, FL 32303.
