State wildlife officials are recommending only a few changes to a list of proposed trout rules that many locals fear will have a negative impact on the local economy and charter fishing captains.
After a series of workshops held over the summer, staff with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) will present their official recommended changes to the state’s spotted seatrout regulations to the commission on Wednesday, Oct. 2.
