McLeod will seek sheriff’s seat

William Danny McLeod has filed notice as a candidate for sheriff with the Supervisor of Elections office, making his third bid for the county’s top law enforcement office.

McLeod, who previously ran as a Democrat in 2012 and as NPA (no party affiliation) in 2016, registered as a Republican for the 2020 race.
